1. Section 1
Short title and commencement.—
(1) This Act may be called the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963.
(2) It shall come into force into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2* * * * * 7. College of Engineering and Technology, Delhi to cease to be affiliated College of University of Delhi.—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Delhi University Act, 1922 (8 of 1922), or the Statutes made thereunder, the College of Engineering and Technology, Delhi, incorporated under this Act, shall, on the commencement of this Act, cease to be an “Affiliated College” within the meaning of clause
(a) of section 2 of the Delhi University Act, 1922, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such cesser. Sec. 3(ii).
